On the day of your Airbrush Spray Tanning appointment, follow these steps to ensure a flawless Airbrush Spray Tan:
Arrive With Clean, Product-Free Skin
On the day of your appointment, please arrive with clean skin free of products.
Avoid applying:
• Lotion or moisturizer
• Body oils
• Sunscreen
• Makeup
• Deodorant
• Perfume
These products can create a barrier on the skin and may interfere with the even development of your spray tan.
Hair Care
If you plan to wash your hair before your appointment, please do so before arriving at the studio.
Shampoo and conditioner can leave residue on the skin, so it’s best to rinse your body thoroughly after washing your hair to ensure no product remains on your skin before your spray tan.
Shower Timing
Whenever possible, avoid showering within four hours of your appointment, as freshly showered skin can temporarily affect how the spray tan solution develops.
If you do need to shower before your appointment, keep it brief and avoid using heavy body products.
To help minimize the appearance of pores, finish your shower by running cool water over your skin for about one minute before stepping out. This can help calm the skin and reduce the chance of pore spotting before your spray tan.
What to Wear
After your spray tan is applied, the solution will continue developing on your skin. Wearing the right clothing will help prevent pressure marks or transfer.
We recommend arriving in:
• Loose, dark clothing
• No tight waistbands
• No tight ankle bands or leggings
• Open footwear such as sandals or slides
• No socks
You will also need to leave the studio without a bra, as bra straps can create pressure marks on freshly sprayed skin.
Loose dresses, oversized tops, or comfortable lounge-style clothing tend to work best.
A Few Additional Notes
Please cover any open wounds or cuts before arriving, as we cannot spray over broken skin.
Men are required to wear underwear or swim shorts during their spray tan service.
If it is raining on the day of your appointment, please bring an umbrella to help protect your freshly applied spray tan when leaving the studio.
